WWA Releases 2012 Wakeboard World Series Boat Schedule!

From Lake Alfred, FL – (February 22, 2012) In its 23rd year as a global leader in the sport of wakeboarding, the World Wakeboard Association (WWA) is now releasing the 2012 WWA Wakeboard World Series (WBWS) schedule. 2012 will see long-term partners of the WWA play host to the highest caliber wakeboarders in the World. Brazil, Canada, and USA will be turned up-side-down and all-around by World Champion wakeboarders Dean Smith, Phil Soven, and Aaron Rathy. The 2011 Telekom Extreme Playgrounds came to a close on Sunday August, 28th in Hamburg, Germany. It was an action packed weekend of top level riding in Wakeboard, Wakeskate and BMX. With live performances from punk rock bands Yellowcard, NOFX and Rise Against, and some epic pre event and after parties, this was one of the best TEP to date. Wakestock UK came to a close last Sunday after a fun filled weekend of epic riding, great music and plenty of sunshine. It was an eventful day on the water in Winnipeg, Canada for the final rounds of the first stop of the WWA Monster Energy Wake Park Triple Crown presented by Alliance Wakeboard Magazine. The 2011 O’Neill Wake the Line presented by Relentless concluded this past weekend in Cologne, Germany. The event was a huge success as thousands of spectators flooded into the Müngersdorfer Stadionbad (swim stadium) to see the insane setup built by Until Parktech and watch the best rail riders in the world compete for $30,000 in prize money.
